The Rambler X7 builds on the success of the Rover X7 using a lighter frame and more adjustability. The Rambler X7 comes with a 26-inch rear wheel and 27-speed gearing. The X7 uses a modified Rambler frame made for the larger rear wheel while keeping the geometry such that the cranks are higher than the stock Rambler. We have also increased the caster angle by a couple degrees which improves the straightline handling.
The Rambler X7 comes stock with Avid BB7 brakes.
The SRAM X7 9-speed rear derailleur is stock.
The Rambler X7 comes with Scwalbe Marathon Racer tires on all three wheels. The larger 26-inch rear wheel makes this a fast rolling trike with a great gear range.
We start out by bending just the right angle in the frame to kick the boom up and increase the camber angle.
We use an idler to get the proper chain clearance on the front and rear.
