Revolution Hurricane eCart - Offroad Electric Quad
Starting at $6850
Availability: 10+ In Stock
Built for serious adventurers, this pedal-free, electric-only beast is engineered to dominate rugged trails and steep climbs. With fat tires for superior traction, powerful gearing options for efficient torque, and your choice of solid or rear differential drive, it’s time to take off-road freedom to the next level.
Our Hurricane eCart adds a transmission to an under-seat mounted 1000W motor. Choose from the stock Enviolo Automatiq transmission for a press-the-throttle-and-go riding experience, or choose the Rohloff 14-speed manual transmission for the ultimate riding.
If you are looking for a pedal option check out the eQuad! The differences between the two are no pedals and a solid axle on the Hurricane, and pedals with a rear differential on the eQuad.
Get Rid of the Pedals!

Get rid of the pedals from an eQuad and what do you have? The Revolution Hurricane eCart! This is everything you love about the eQuad, but without the extra hardware of a crankset. This gives you the freedom to really take this quad anywhere! It features the same motor and gearing setups with a 1000 Watt Bafang motor and rear gearing! Giving you the power to beat up the trails with ease.
1000 Watts of Power
Just like on the eQuad, the Hurricane is powered by a 1000 watt Bafang middrive motor. Utilizing a a 48 volt battery you are able to go up to an estimated 20 miles. All with a top speed of 20-25 mph. With the powerful gearing options available on the Hurricane. You can get the maximum capability out of this powerful middrive motor.
With the Bafang Middrive motor there is no reverse capability.
Automatic or Manual?
There are two gearing options for the Hurricane. The Enviolo Automatiq, and the 14 speed Rohloff hub. These rear gearings are best thought of as transmissions that you would find on a car. The Enviolo being your automatic transmission types, and the Rohloff being a manual transmission. Both having their own pros and cons.
Enviolo Automatiq - The Enviolo hub has a 360% gear range and has a variable gearing system (much like a CVT Transmission in a car) Instead of having set gear sizes it variably adjusts the resistance on the gearing, giving you the most efficient gear possible no matter the situation, and you don't even have to think about it. With the Automatiq the hub will shift gears up and down without any rider input giving you the most simple ride you could ask for.
Rohloff 14 Speed - The Rohloff hub has the the widest gear range out of any hub that we carry, with 525% gear range. This allows you have have much larger highs and lows compared to the Enviolo. Much like a Manual transmission on a car it gives you control of the gearing. Letting you hit really high efficiency in power output with proper technique and skill while shifting. It is a system that is a lot more involved, but can be much more rewarding with its wider gear range.

Now with Full Suspension
The eQuad platform doesn't JUST have rear suspension anymore. Going forward eQuad models like the Hurricane will have full suspension. 2 integrated coil over shocks in the rear as usual, and new stock suspension spindle elastomers in the front.

2 Types of Riding
Maybe you want a relaxing laid back feel to your ride, or maybe you want to sit upright and in control! You can choose between either our Recumbent seat with skid plate option or our Upright seat and foot plate options. Both provide a different way to ride depending on what you are looking for.
Upright - The Upright seat gives you a similar position as you would in a wheelchair. Upright with your feet lower to the ground it makes it much easier to get in and out of, as well as giving a more in control feel.
Reclined - The Reclined seat gives you a more laid back and secure seating arrangement. The Revolution Reclined seat has a good cradling feel and keeps you secure. This makes it more difficult to enter and exit compared to the upright seat. The skid plates also give you a much higher ground clearance than the foot plates while also giving you a more tactical feel as you ride.
Who is the Revolution Hurricane for?
The Hurricane is perfect for the offroad rider. The standard eQuad is great for exercise and tackling offroad terrain with pedal power, but the extra crankset up front and the extended length can get in the way while hitting more rugged trails. If you're the type of rider that wants to hit trails hard and fast without worrying about pedaling or rolling backwards with your feet in the pedals then this makes the Hurricane perfect for you.
The Hurricane is basically an offroad go kart. Built to hit the path less traveled and have all the power and efficiency to get you to the other side.
