Why Christine Rides a Catrike Villager!

This past summer my husband acquired a barely used Catrike Villager from a friend of ours who purchased it brand new from Utah Trikes in January 2024 and who had to give it up due to a terminal illness. Needless to say, it was a bittersweet acquisition, but our friend would be thrilled to know how much fun I have been having riding it. It’s bright orange – very hi-intensity visible; I’ve got a reflective flag perched high; I added yellow glow stick bars on my spokes, and my husband, Richard, and I ride as often as we can. Usually on the weekend we try for a longer ride than our regular exercise loop to find a new place for lunch or sometimes dinner. The trike is super comfortable. I never seem to feel fatigued after riding. I’m totally confident we won’t have any trouble getting home from our outings with the electric assist. I was skeptical about using it at first, but it has really made a difference in the longer rides we manage to take. Now I can’t imagine ever having to ride a two-wheeler again! Oh and by the way, Richard, for Christmas, purchased the Ventisit Seat Pad adding additional comfort in riding on some of the older streets here in the busy city of Scottsdale, Arizona.
