Tri Your Best: Stay Safe While Riding a Trike

All of those who ride trikes know that while it’s fun way to stay active it also comes with it’s own safety concerns. In this week’s newsletter we wanted to highlight some of ours and our customers favorite ways to keep you and your trikes safe while riding a trike. So follow along as we dive in to some of our favorite tips for staying safe while riding!

Have a Light!

Lights are not just for visibility, they're your best bet for safety while riding your trike! Our expert salesman, Brayden, always says that lights are like cheap safety insurance. He's passionate about making sure everyone can see and be seen on the road. It's an easy and effective way to stay safe!

Use a Flag

Flags are another excellent way to stay safe while riding a trike because they help others see you while you’re on the road.

Wear a Helmet

Helmets are the best way by far to make sure that you stay safe while riding. Helmets help protect you from unfortunate injuries that could happen if you were to crash or to fall on your trike. If you wanna read more about helmets can keep you and people you care about safe read this article.

Register Your Trike!

The last tip we have to keep your trike safe is to consider registering it with both your local police department and the manufacturer. It's a smart move to help track it down if it ever goes missing or to activate the warranty if it gets damaged. Don't forget to keep a note of your trike’s serial number! You can usually find it in a few common places on your trike. In the section down below we’ll go over a few common places you can find your trikes serial number.

Remember: Your serial number is going to be the main tool you’ll use for registering your trike.
