Years of MTB riding and racing rather enthusiastically left me with some permanent reminders of times ambition exceeded skill… Titanium replacement parts are not exactly OEM! Neck pain & spasms finally ruled out any further ventures on two wheels. A friend suggested I try a trike. Never looked back. My metallic green Dumont [nicknamed T3] allows me to ride all day with no discomfort at all.
Currently getting fit again after a winter battling a rare skin cancer and then a nasty little lung problem caused by five weeks of radiation for the cancer. Tiny distances as yet but generally gets better every day. From not being able to walk from my bedroom to kitchen without a break for air to - so far - 15 miles and 600' of ascent is life affirming. Plan to be back to full strength within a year and enter a couple of back to back century fundraisers.
