Because I’m old. I’m seventy, and used to do triathlons, but could no longer ride road bikes due to their horrible geometry and back issues. I quit for a few years, then bought a Catrike, and fell in love with riding again.
It’s SO comfortable! I added the Bosch system last year, and it compensated for the additional weight of a trike vs my old carbon fiber trek, and riding became fun again.
