I am about to turn 72 and have been an avid cyclist since 1994..did many centuries my last bike was a custom Serotta Meivici. A few years ago I developed a benign tremor which made it difficult to ride. My wonderful wife suggested I try a recumbent trike and I was hooked. Got a Catrike Villager and in a year and a half rode it 5300 miles. Decided I wanted to go faster so I contacted Harold at Utah Trikes. We made the 9 hour drive last week and got Ophelia Expedition eCat. What a great experience! I have had it less than a week and am closing in on 100 miles. My bilateral knee replacements and hip replacement feel great. I usually use the motor on eco and it makes all the difference, but I must say using it on turbo is a blast!. Still have to pedal and do the work feels like having a few extra gears. Thanks Utah Trikes for a fabulous buying experience!
